Infrastructure
Hikayemiz runs on Cloudflare. The app itself is on Cloudflare Workers, the database on D1, and photos and videos on R2. Cloudflare looks after the servers, so we spend our time on the product.
Recurring jobs such as payment checks and reminder emails run by themselves at the times we set. This website runs on the same infrastructure, on Cloudflare Workers.
We suggest starting your product on the same infrastructure. If your needs are different, we choose together.
Testing and quality checks
Every change goes through automated tests before release. Hikayemiz has two kinds. The first tries each part of the code on its own. The second opens a browser and repeats the steps a user takes on the site, from start to finish.
When a change affects the screens, we also compare each page with how it looked before. That way we catch any unexpected visual difference before release.
On top of the tests, we put every change through a separate quality check. If a problem turns up, we fix it first and release after.
Release
We start building once you approve the copy and design. That way the site shows exactly the text you approved.
We record every database change in order and check it along with the tests. Once the tests and the quality check pass, we release the new version in a single step.
After release we keep watching and improving the product. That is how we run Hikayemiz today.
